Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off on Monday, September 16th. Stop by Golden Valley for a delicious conchita (sweet bread), an informational brochure on Mexican Heritage, and a free book. We will be set up in front of the Golden Valley Office. 7:45 am - 8:00 am El Mes de la Herencia Hispana comienza el lunes 16 de septiembre. Pase por Golden Valley para disfrutar de una deliciosa conchita (pan dulce), un folleto informativo sobre la herencia mexicana y un libro gratis. Estaremos instalados frente a la oficina de Golden Valley de 7:45 am a 8:00 am.

Tomorrow is Elementary Football Night at OHS. Due to the heat, the times for the JV and Varsity games have been changed. JV Football game will be at 6:00 pm and the Varsity game at 8:15 pm. The elementary schools will walk the field at 7 pm. If you would like your child to participate, please ensure they arrive by 6:30 pm. Mañana es la Noche de Fútbol Americano de Primaria en OHS. Debido al calor, se han cambiado los horarios de los partidos de JV y Varsity. El partido de fútbol americano JV será a las 6:00 pm y el partido de Varsity a las 8:15 pm. We will cheer on Roary during the halftime show as he races against the Palm Panther, Cutler Wildcat, El Monte Lobo, and Orosi Cardinal. Calling all Lions! We are pleased to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year. The first day of school is Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Students in grades 1st-5th will be on a regular day schedule starting at 7:55 am. Parents may walk their children to class on the first day of school. On the first day of school, students in 1st-5th grade will take home an important packet with forms that must be completed and returned on Wednesday, August 14th. Please take time to fill them out completely. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the Golden Valley office at 559-528-9004. Daily Schedule: Grade TK - 5th grade Mon. Tues. Thurs. & Fri. 7:55 am - 3:00 pm Grade TK - 5th grade Wed. 9:25 pm - 3:00 pm All students participate in the free breakfast program for the first 10 minutes of class.
