Dear Parents,
I wanted to share an exciting educational experience that took place today. Our 5th grade students had the wonderful opportunity to learn from park rangers who visited our campus. The rangers provided an informative presentation about their vital work with the Forestry Department.
During their visit, students gained firsthand insights into forest management, conservation efforts, and the diverse responsibilities of park rangers. These kinds of real-world connections help bring learning to life and may inspire future career interests in environmental science and conservation.
We're grateful to the Forestry Department for sharing their expertise with our students and helping them better understand the importance of protecting our natural resources.
If your child comes home excited about what they learned today, we encourage you to ask them about their experience with the park rangers!

Quiero compartir una experiencia educativa emocionante que tuvo lugar hoy. Nuestros estudiantes de 5º grado tuvieron la maravillosa oportunidad de aprender de los guardaparques que visitaron nuestro campus. Los guardaparques realizaron una presentación informativa sobre su importante trabajo en el Departamento Forestal.
Durante su visita, los estudiantes obtuvieron información de primera mano sobre el manejo forestal, los esfuerzos de conservación y las diversas responsabilidades de los guardaparques. Este tipo de conexiones con el mundo real ayuda a dar vida al aprendizaje y puede inspirar futuros intereses profesionales en ciencias ambientales y conservación.
Estamos agradecidos con el Departamento Forestal por compartir su experiencia con nuestros estudiantes y ayudarlos a comprender mejor la importancia de proteger nuestros recursos naturales.
